Spending the day at Lorimar Vineyards with Julia and JD was a memorable experience I'll always look back on. The vineyard setting is uniquely picaresque and has a classy feel to it. It's always so great to hit it off with couples like I did with these two. It makes the day so much fun for everyone, and allows for creativity and ideas to really flow.
It really wasn't hard getting these two to just be themselves. Their affection for each other was so real, felt so fresh, and I knew I was capturing some invaluable raw emotions. Maybe it was the fact that this was Julia's FIRST RELATIONSHIP, but I wont forget how giddy and excited the energy was between them; like two kids who fell in love last week. I can never forget couples like this.
This all came to a head when they were exchanging vows during their ceremony, each of them overwhelmed with emotion and at the life-changing prospect of finding someone they feel at home with, and officially joining themselves, and their families, together. You could feel how full of joy their family and friends were, that they were finally getting to enjoy such a long-awaited, and deeply meaningful moment in their lives.
